We are so proud to have partnered with Girls Inc of Alameda County for a three-day Discover Cricket Summer Series. With sponsorship from the San Francisco Unicorns, we were able to introduce cricket to 75 amazing girls. 🏏

The girls are part of a 5-year Eureka Summer Program, focused on confidence, sisterhood, college and career readiness for girls aged 13-17. We feel incredibly grateful to partner with other organizations whose values around inclusivity and access to opportunities for girls align so closely with ours.

It was a blast to watch the girls’ leadership styles shine through as they supported each other through various cricket-related competitions. The level of curiosity around cricket and the engagement we experienced from the girls was highly rewarding. The excitement and laughs we all shared will not soon be forgotten. We may have also discovered some serious athletic talent and hope that some of the girls feel inspired to continue learning about the game.

We look forward to making the Discover Cricket Summer Series an annual tradition with Girls Inc of Alameda County and hope to launch other cricket-related activities during the school year.

We are excited to share our recap of the San Francisco Unicorns Family Day, presented by Royal Rice!

Earlier this summer we had the opportunity to engage about 70 youngsters in events geared toward building excitement for cricket in the San Francisco Bay Area.

We are hopeful that the Aspire crew and our wonderful volunteer coaches were able to inspire a few young girls to pursue cricket for themselves! A big thank you to the following volunteer coaches for coming out and paying it forward to the youngsters:

Thanks to the San Diego Cricket Club Youth Academy (SDCCYA) for having us back for our second Women’s Cricket Skills Camp!

It was another special day of great cricket with an amazing group of girls! We were so happy to see the returning girls again and to meet some new budding cricketers as well. We look forward to watching these girls progress and hope to help them learn and grow with more camps like these. The future is bright 🤩

Our Discover Cricket Pop Up at The City of Compton’s Sports Day was a blast! Introducing the sport we love to new kids in new communities is one of our core missions and events like these make us excited for what the future holds! 🚀
